This is an exciting new role to support Tearfund’s programmes in Asia to increase the scale and quality of Church and Community Transformation (CCT) work.

CCT consists of various approaches that encourage churches to have their own long term vision to work in, or with communities to see the restoration of relationships with self, others, the environment and God so that poverty is reduced holistically and sustainably.

Tearfund has supported CCT work for the last 15 years and as part of our recently refreshed strategy has established CCT as one of the three Corporate Priorities for the next three years.

We are seeking a dynamic individual to lead the development and support the implementation of a regional CCT strategy in close collaboration with our country teams and other stakeholders.  The successful candidate will have excellent experience in the community development sector as well as work to envision and mobilise local churches for integral mission. Coaching, mentoring, training, networking, influencing, identifying and sharing learning will all be key elements of this role, as well as representing Asia within Tearfund’s global CCT leadership team.  You will have a track record of innovative collaborations, working effectively across different Asian cultures and will be theologically literate.

All applicants must be committed to Tearfund’s Christian beliefs. This position is fixed term for 3 years.

Location: The position will be based in Asia (subject to the right to live and work in that location and Tearfund's registration requirements). Applicants must therefore possess a valid passport/visa stating the right to live and work in one of these countries.

Salary: Tearfund offer a competitive salary and benefits package. The salary is market matched and will depend on where the role is located. There are no expatriate benefits offered with this position.
