DMEAL and Communication Officer - Chad

Are you passionate about measuring impact, and communication? Tearfund Chad, seeks a dynamic individual for the role of DMEAL Officer. This role is integral to Tearfund's Chad implementation team, focusing on the crucial intersection of DMEAL and communications. The DMEAL and Communications Officer will support Tearfund's Chad country teams and its local partners. The core purpose is to ensure robust DMEAL practices, verify and substantiate M&E data, and translate this data into compelling communication materials for donors and stakeholders. This role will also contribute to the overall learning and accountability of the Chad program including: 

 

DMEAL Implementation and Data Management:

  • Review, collate, and triangulate M&E data, Outcome Harvesting data, stories, photos, videos, and other information.
  • Advise on data gap filling and improvements in data collection.
  • Triangulate and substantiate data to ensure quality, validity, and reliability.
  • Design and contribute to the implementation of the CHAD  DMEAL framework.
  • Ensure the Chad program maintains high levels of accountability to all stakeholders.
  • Support learning initiatives and ensure learning is captured and utilized to improve program quality.

Create Communications Materials to Showcase Findings:

  • Present findings coherently for donor meetings, communications, proposals, and reports.
  • Support the drafting of reports and other required documents.
  • Input into the production of communication materials using validated data.
  • Create communications materials based on triangulated data for donor and INGO audiences.

Engage with and Support Chad Communications and Knowledge and Learning Activities:

  • Represent Tearfund at Chad global Communications and/or DMEAL working groups.
  • Support the creation of Chad-wide Communications or DMEAL materials/outputs.
  • Support Chad's campaigns and other activities as appropriate.

This role will be based in Ndjamena with extensive travel within Chad.  Experience of working within insecure environments would be required.
