Job Opportunity - Finance & Administration Manager - Mozambique

Tearfund is seeking to recruit a Finance and Administration Manager in the Mozambique Country Office.

As the Finance & Administration Manager you will provide financial, personnel and overall administrative leadership to the Mozambique office and work closely with the Regional Finance Manager and other support service functions to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in accordance to Tearfund's financial, administration, logistics and Human Resources procedures, its Christian distinctiveness, code of conduct and the Mozambique legal framework within which the Mozambique programme operates. 

Additionally you will support the country team staff at the programme head office plus at project sites with the responsibility for supporting in, setting up and implementing a coordinated logistics, administrative and financial function in support of the programme. In accordance with Tearfund policies and guidelines, to support a system of internal controls in order to safeguard Tearfund assets, mitigate against the risk of financial loss and fraud and satisfy donor and statutory audit requirements. 

The successful candidate will provide systematic support to Tearfund in Mozambique partners to ensure effectiveness, efficiency and compliance with Tearfund policies and procedures.

Do you have?

• At least 5 years relevant working experience preferably in an INGO;
• Experience in working with institutional and non conventional donors systems and requirements;
• Experience in running cross regional budgets efficiently and effectively;
• Experience in managing huge humanitarian projects;
• Strong understanding of administration, logistics  and HR functions;
• Experience of Emergency procurement and logistics compliance;
• A vision for Tearfunds' work;

Please note: This is a fixed term contract of 2 Years based in Mozambique, Maputo, with a possibility of renewal. The salary for this role is 3,648,135 MZM per annum.
