Regional Logistics Business Partner-ENA

Tearfund is seeking an experienced and passionate Logistics Business Partner to join our committed team in the Eurasia & North Africa (ENA) region. This pivotal role offers an exciting opportunity to support and enhance the operational quality, supply chain, and logistics impact across our ENA programmes, while working in close engagement with Tearfund's Global Logistics team.
The Logistics Business Partner oversees logistics and procurement support across ENA country programmes and is responsible for ensuring operational standards are met, providing high-level technical advice, and supporting regional teams with procurement services. The position collaborates with the Global Logistics team and other regional Logistics Business Partners to share best practices, develop shared resources, and continually enhance logistics operations. The Logistics Business Partner actively engages with internal and external stakeholders, delivering training, mentoring, and short-term operational support as needed. S/he plays a key role in ensuring adherence to policies, creating new guidelines when necessary, and finding creative solutions to complex logistical challenges in the region.
The ideal candidate will have:
- University Degree or equivalent professional qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related humanitarian field
- Significant hands-on experience in logistics, supply chain management, and procurement within humanitarian and development contexts
- Demonstrated experience in providing strategic logistics advisory support, conducting procurement services, and managing supply chains across multiple country programmes
- Proven experience in developing, applying, and adapting logistics policies and guidelines in complex, fast-moving environments
- Detailed understanding of international supply chain, compliance, and donor logistics requirements
- Proven ability in capacity development, training, mentoring, and coaching of staff and partner organizations
- Proven successful experience in cross-cultural collaboration, strategic planning, and operational problem-solving
- Proven experience in financial management, budgeting, and logistics procedures linked to operational delivery
- Proven ability to think creatively to find solutions to challenging, real-world logistical issues
The ideal candidate should also have:
- Strong influencing, training, and mentoring skills
- Strong analytical, organizational, and creative problem-solving skills
- Proven ability of working effectively in remote and multicultural teams
- Excellent report writing and communication skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (working knowledge of Arabic or other regional languages is highly desirable)
- Able to work in a fast-moving environment, comfortable with constant change, and available for short-term regional assignments
- Proven computer literacy, including good knowledge of logistics systems, MS Office, and Google Workspace
